3. Meet Our Provider
đź’» Schedule your complimentary 30-minute Zoom consultation. Our provider will learn about your history and see if TMS is a good fit.

4. Insurance Approval
📄 We’ll collect your insurance info and records, then submit a pre-authorization request on your behalf.

5. Begin Treatment
🧠 Once approved, we’ll schedule your mapping and first TMS session — and support you every step of the way.

1. Reach Out: Getting started with Tompkins TMS is simple. Choose one of these three easy ways to reach out:

  1. Call or Text Us
    Use the phone number listed on our website — you can call or text, whichever is easier.
  2. Take a Quick Self-Screening
    Click the “Am I a Candidate?” button. You’ll see a short HIPAA agreement first, then a brief questionnaire used widely in mental healthcare. This helps us understand your needs.

  3. Fill Out the “Let’s Get Started” Form
    Use this form to tell us a little about yourself. It comes straight to us by email.

2. Ask Questions: Once we hear from you, we’ll follow up by phone, text, or email — whichever you prefer.

That first conversation gives you the chance to ask questions, learn what to expect, and talk through things like TMS, insurance, and billing. We want you to feel comfortable and informed before taking the next step.

3. Meet Our Provider: After our conversation, we’ll schedule a complimentary 30-minute Zoom consultation with our provider. This consultation visit is designed to give you space to:

  • Ask clinical questions about TMS treatment
  • Share your history and goals
  • Learn whether TMS might be a good fit for you

👉 Note: Before we schedule the consultation, we’ll ask you to complete the PHQ questionnaire on our website if you haven’t already.

4. Insurance Approval: After the consultation:

  1. We’ll collect a copy of your insurance card.
  2. We’ll ask you to complete release of information forms so we can gather records from your other providers.
  3. With this information, we’ll submit a pre-authorization request to your insurance company.

5. Begin Treatment: If your insurance approves treatment, we’ll schedule your mapping session and first TMS treatment. From there, you’ll begin your personalized treatment plan with our team supporting you every step of the way.
