Everyone there was absolutely wonderful and fought with my insurance to help get me covered. You can tell they really care about their patients and the work they are doing and it was a great experience getting treatment from them. They even have a little dog peanut who is just a gem! The treatment itself went well and I definitely notice my depression symptoms are a lot better. So thankful for Sara, Layla and Stacy for making this such a great experience!

When you start a Jigsaw Puzzle you have to put that first piece down. This could be the first piece of your Puzzle, you owe it to yourself and anyone that cares about you, or that you care about to try. Yes, it hurts, but it gets less painful the more consistent you are.Yes, it's a commitment, most importantthongs are. Yes, parking is an issue, they can tell you where to park. I live 45mins away and had a terrible time with transportation, I didn't think I'd get half way let alone finish today, but I stuck with it and am greatful I did. The staff are beyond incredible. Dr.Mead, Sarah, Leila, Stacy and of course (Mr.)Peanut! They listen, understood and encouraged without pushing. I encourage anyone struggling to look into it. Good luck to anyone and everyone, this was the way to go for me and has been an amazing first piece of my Puzzle. Thank you, from my whole family to yours. Mark B.

I'm just finishing a seven week treatment with Tompkins TMS and I am truly sad that it's over. Sara and the rest of the team bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and help you walk through the whole process from navigating insurance to scheduling to communicating with your primary care physician. I found myself looking forward to seeing my friends (and Mr. Peanut) and watching my comfort show in the A/C every day, even though the actual TMS is a little bit unpleasant. If you're thinking about TMS and you're in the Ithaca area I can't recommend these folks enough!

Sara, Layla and Dr. Mead are wonderful, supportive and kind. They took time to understand my issues and treated me as more than just a patient. I had trouble tolerating the full dose of TMS and they spent extra time re-mapping to enable me to achieve the full dose. Peanut the little doggie was an added bonus! I definitely feel less depressed and anxious after this treatment. Highly recommend to anyone wanting an alternative to medication for depression and anxiety.

Dr. Mead went above and beyond helping me get my treatment covered by insurance. He went to bat for me to appeal their initial denial and was very patient and caring. Sara and Layla are extremely kind and empathetic, and make it a joy to go for treatment. They make you feel welcome and comfortable at every visit.

Layla and Sara are amazing people and you feel like family when you are here. TMS has helped with my depression and I am so thankful I found TMS and got to meet Sara and Layla. A nice little perk is the cuddles you get every day with their little dog peanut.

Tompkins TMS was absolutely life changing! The staff feels like family and they truly care about you and your experience! Everything is explained superbly and although it’s a commitment 5 days a week for 7 weeks, which equals 36 sessions, it’s worth it!

I highly recommend that anyone thinking about having Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) contact Tompkins TMS. They use the latest Neurostar device to deliver treatment for depression and anxiety. John-Paul and Sara, the owners of the practice, just returned from Neurostar where they learned about the latest technological and therapeutic advances in the treatment of depression and anxiety. I was very pleased to learn that they remain current with the latest breakthroughs in the field. My wife had the standard 35 treatments for depression and 20 for anxiety. She does feel better after the treatments and wants to do activities that she was unable to do for years. We found Sara and Leila very kind and compassionate. They were very positive and encouraging throughout the seven weeks of treatment. Initially, the treatments were uncomfortable, but both of them kept reassuring my wife that she would adjust to them. After two weeks, she actually fell asleep during the treatments. I encourage anyone who has limited success combatting depression and anxiety to reach out to Tompkins TMS. You will be glad you did.

Both the TMS and the environment thst the staff have created have created a treatment that finally broke the walls of my nagging depression after 25 years of medication resistant depression and guilting myself for not having a brain willing to work with it. Thank you so very much for making my healing journey top priority!

The team here is so wonderful and supportive. They are flexible and understanding with scheduling, easy to get in contact with, and make the space safe and comfortable. TMS has vastly improved my life, and the team here was a huge part of my ability to be consistent with the treatments. I highly recommend you talk to them about your depression if you are struggling.
